Washington (ANI): The real reason behind American socialite Kim Kardashian’s refusal to do her famous back pose at the Stardust Pictures Pre-Oscar bash has been put down to a wardrobe malfunction.

Kardashian, 28, had arrived at the event at Haven House in a belted Halston dress, but while posing on the red carpet she refused photographers’ requests to turn around, reports Fox News.

Kardashian politely refused their request saying that she did not like the back of her dress, and her sister Kourtney also advised her from the side not to turn around. It was later discovered that the real problem was due to a dreaded wedgie

Kim Kardashian To Host New MTV Award Show

Kim Kardashian is set to host the first ever MTV Cribs Awards. Oh yeah, not to mentioned that there's this new award show on MTV dedicated to handing out statues to narcissists with a lot of money.

In a press release, MTV announced that the Cribs Awards will air on Saturday, March 7th at 1pm. Some of the awards you can expect to see handed out are:

Khloe Kardashian Finds Jessica Simpson 'Stunning'

Joining the chorus of Jessica Simpson supporters, Khloe Kardashian is now echoing her big sister, Kim Kardashian, who's said Jessica "looks hot."

"Most people would die to have that body," reality-star Khloe, 24, says about Simpson, in response to some recent flak about the country singer's shape.

"I do think she's gained a little weight, but Jessica is so petite and so beautiful that if she gains five pounds it looks like a lot more," Kardashian told PEOPLE at Tao Las Vegas's Anti-Valentines party, on Friday the 13th. "I think she's stunning."

Khloe herself has had to fend off negative comments about her own weight – and she still brushes them off.

"I'm just happy with myself and I don't care what anyone else says," she said. "It's important to have good family and good morals."

What she doesn't necessarily need: men. Newly single, Kardashian said, "I love single life. I've always been more of a single girl."

Khloe Kardashian Advises Dating Football (Not Basketball) Players

When it comes to dating professional athletes, the Kardashian ladies agree that football players are more convenient than basketball players.

"It's easier to date a football player for sure," Khloe Kardashian, who split last week from Rashad McCants of the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves, tells PEOPLE. "Football players have one game a week, and they practice every day, but they're all at home.

"In basketball, they're on the road all the time," she adds to emphasize how much easier sister Kim Kardashian has it with her NFL star, Reggie Bush.

After blogging about her split, Khloe turned up in Tampa with her sisters to party during Super Bowl weekend.

"We're here to celebrate the breakup," joked other sister Kourtney at a pre-Super Bowl party at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

"Relationships are so hard in general, even living next door to each other," Khloe says. "But they have 82 games a year in their season, and I work so much; it's hard to spend time together. It just wasn't as fun as it should have been."

Khloe also admitted that writing on her blog right away helped give her closure.

"Otherwise, I could think, 'I'll take him back,' " she says. "I blogged the next morning so I wouldn't change my mind. It made me feel better. And if I do go back, I'd have to blog about it and be like, 'Sorry guys.' "

Khloe adds: "I normally never talk about relationships. But since he was kind of public, my fans were angry that I wasn't really saying anything."

Come Sunday, most Americans will be watching the Super Bowl, eating junk food and rooting on their favorite team. Not Kim Kardashian: she'll be doing leg lifts and crunches.

"I'm flying to L.A. first thing on Sunday morning to film my own fitness DVD on how to tone up and stay in shape for a curvy body," Kardashian, 28, told PEOPLE Friday night at the 6th Annual Leather & Laces Super Bowl Party in Tampa. "It's going to be a grueling day."

So what exactly is on Kardashian's agenda? "First of all, there's a three-hour rehearsal where I have to do all the exercises over and over," Kardashian explains. "Then I have to actually shoot the DVD. So I'll be working out for hours on Sunday while all my friends are having fun."

While the reality star didn't originally plan on missing the game, a scheduling snafu forced her to make a tough decision. "When we first chose Feb. 1, we didn't know it was the Super Bowl," she says. "And after we realized it, I thought that this video was an important thing for me to do."

And important for her target audience: curvier girls.

"For young girls to see exercise videos that have only skinny girls…well, that's something they can't attain," says Kardashian. "I want this to be something that can be realistic for most girls."

Kardashian Apologizes for 'Insensitive' Chimp Pictures

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has issued an apology for posting "insensitive" pictures of her family posing with their new pet chimpanzee in the same week a woman was brutally mauled by a crazed ape.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star posed with her mother, Kris, sisters Khloe and Kourtney, and 3-year-old chimp Suzy for the snap, which was posted on her Web site on Friday.

The siblings rented the chimp for a week as a prank on their mom, but their laughs were short lived when critics lashed out at Kim, who posted the snaps days after a 14-year-old, 200-pound chimp left 55-year-old Connecticut woman Charla Nash near dead on February 16.

Kardashian says, "I understand my timing was not appropriate and it was insensitive of me. What happened to the woman that was attacked by the chimpanzee was devastating. In no way did I mean to insult or offend anyone by posting these pictures."

Nash remains in critical but stable condition in a Cleveland, Ohio, clinic.

The incident prompted Washington lawmakers to pass a bill on Tuesday banning the sale of chimps, gorillas, monkeys and orangutans across state lines.

Kim Kardashian Apologizes for Posting Pet Chimp Pictures After Mauling Attack

Kim Kardashian has issued an apology for posting pictures of her family with their pet chimp Suzy the same week that a Connecticut woman was brutally mauled by a 200-pound chimpanzee.

“I understand my timing was not appropriate and it was insensitive of me,” Kardashian, 28, said on her blog. “… In no way did I mean to insult or offend anyone by posting these pictures.”

The original posting, written by the reality star on Feb. 20, talks about the Kardashian family experience with three-year-old Suzy.

“It’s just like having an infant but worse because Suzy runs around like a teenager! She always needs to be fed, drinks out of a bottle and she loves Capri Sun juices!”

The chimpanzee involved in the mauling of 55 year-old woman just four days earlier reportedly drank wine with his owner, bathed with her and even slept in her bed. It later attacked her friend, Charla Nash, biting her hands and most of her face off. On Thursday, just a day before Kardashian’s posting, Nash endured more than seven hours of surgery by four teams of surgeons.


“What happened to the woman that was attacked by the chimpanzee was devastating,” Kardashian said. “My mom and I saw it on the news and heard the 911 calls and we both cried! Our family is praying for everyone involved in that traumatizing attack.”

Wearing quite the extravagant ensemble, Katy Perry took the stage at the 2009 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday (February 8).

She's been gallivanting around the world with her new boy toy Jesus Luz, and the upcoming issue of W magazine has Madonna's steamy photo shoot with the Brazilian stud (where they initially met).

A friend told press, "Guy doesn't think highly of Jesus since he is convinced this is a casual fling and is not thrilled this is happening so soon after the divorce. She's got a sure-to-be hit movie "He's Just Not That Into You" opening up in theaters today, and Jennifer Aniston just keeps on lining up new projects.

The former "Friends" star, who appeared on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" last night, has announced that she'll be starring in a new movie called "The Baster".



Co-starring Jason Bateman, "The Baster" is a comedy centering around "a fella (Jason) who learns that his best pal (Jen) is planning to have a baby through artificial insemination. So he does what any normal person would do… he replaces her donor's semen with his own so that he's secretly the real father!"

Not only will Miss Aniston be starring the new movie, which begins filming this spring, but she's also signed on as the movie's producer.

Chris Brown Wanted for Assault, Rihanna Drops Grammys

Pulling out of Grammy Awards, Rihanna and Chris Brown will not be on-hand for this evening's music festivities.


According to breaking reports, Chris is being investigated in an alleged domestic violence felony battery incident - with insiders claiming that Rihanna was the victim.



According to the Los Angeles Police Department reports, Brown, 19, was "in a vehicle with an unidentified woman in L.A.'s Hancock Park neighborhood around 12:30 a.m. Sunday when they began arguing. Police say Brown and the woman got out of the car and the argument escalated. The woman, who had visible injuries, phoned 911 and alleged Brown attacked her."





Officers arrived to the scene to find the victim - while Brown had already fled. Of the incident, Rihanna's rep said, "Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support."

Like many Americans who don't busy their days trying to conceive of ways to nail Megan Fox, I am a little ambivalent about her. Britney to be sawed in half on Circus tour

Britney Spears is leaving no stone unturned to make her ‘Circus’ tour a real entertainment treat for audience, and she will have herself sliced in half for one of the stunts during her shows.

According to reports, the pop sensation will be doing a number with illusionist-comedian Ed


Alonzo, known as “the Misfit of Magic”, at each performance.

“Right away, she got into the boxes and into the magic contraptions to learn the stuff, and she’’s so excited about this tour and all the elements that are in it,” Us magazine quoted Alonzo as saying.

He added: “We”re going to be doing the classics of magic but a little high-tech. We”ll be doing a little dissection, transposition, a vanish, an appearance.

The ‘Womaniser’ hitmaker will be playing Alonzo’’s assistant during the bit, and will be part of many of his tricks.

“If I do a trick, she doesn”t just hold the props, she’’s actually getting inside the big boxes or I am slicing her up,” Alonzo said.

“(I) made (the tricks) really easy for her, but there are some complicated things that she is doing that you would think a contortionist would have to do, or a trained magician’’s assistant. But because she’’s a dancer, it really makes sense to put her in the magic, and it works and she’’s really, really good at it,” Alonzo added.

Although Alonzo did not reveal which of the Spears’ song would go with their joint performance, but revealed the three-ring circus set helps them get into character.

“It’’s like watching a big Cirque du Soleil high-tech circus, but with a really focused star in the middle of all of this. It’’s going to be an amazing concert for people to watch,” he said. (ANI)

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson welcome in 2009 by 'brawling in alley outside nightclub'

Lindsay Lohan and her girlfriend Samantha Ronson rang in 2009 by physically fighting each other after falling out in a Miami nightclub.

The pair began brawling in a dark alley after storming out of the city's Mansion club on New Year's Eve, according to U.S. reports.




They then returned to their hotel where they allegedly began throwing punches at one another and screaming until security pulled them apart.


An onlooker told the New York Post newspaper: 'It was a really gross alley. There was a bum [tramp] eating a sandwich watching the whole thing

'Lindsay was really unstable and flipping out.'

The fracas began after Lohan, 22, and London-born DJ Ronson, 31, left Mansion.

The source said: 'Lohan screeched at Ronson, "When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me!"'


Then after the pair returned to their nearby hotel, crashing sounds and screaming were heard coming from their room until the fight spilled out into the hallways at about 11am that morning, the newspaper reported.

One eyewitness told the publication: 'They were punching each other - it was bad. And they were doing this in front of all of us. It was scary.

'At one point, Lohan dropped to her knees and cried, "Why are you doing this to me?" Sam just said, "I don't know you."'

Hotel security was called and photographs were taken of the room, which was reportedly 'trashed'.



A spokeswoman for Mean Girls star Lohan said: 'There was an argument. I don't know the details, but they left for Los Angeles together and it's fine.'

The couple have had a series of major spats recently.

In November, Lohan left a party to mark the launch of a Dubai hotel in tears after rowing with Ronson.

They also had a screaming match at London club Boujis after Ronson spotted the actress dancing with model Calum Best.
